A multi-faceted designer, Jo’s experience ranges from set design to interior architecture. Fascinated with the scenic beauty of her hometown of Rio de Janeiro she decided to explore the poetic process of designing interiors for film and television. Realizing her skills and creative talent could be used to create long-lasting interiors to improve the lives of others, she pursued a career in Interior Design. Passionate about alternative art forms and with a unique eye for design, Jo brings a multi-cultural, layered and impactful approach to her design process whether in her hospitality or set design experience.

Jo has won national and international awards for Best Production Design from "Nós (Us)" by the American Movie Awards, and by the International Independent Film Festival. Recently, in her interior career, she was selected as one of the Top 100 Future Graduates by Metropolis Magazine and gained a Women Leaders in Hospitality Design scholarship award by NEWH.

Her work has been displayed in two of the most popular Brazilian newspapers, Jornal do Brasil and O Globo.
